ADVANCES IN 3D PRINTING TO BOOST HEALTH & ARCHITECTURE IN SPECIAL

We live in an age that has witnessed to several outstanding technological and scientific advances.3D printing is one among the most influential latest technologies that can transform the whole manufacturing and health industries. In recent time, researchers have found many ways 3D printing, also called additive manufacturing, could be used for various purposes in daily human life. It is a kind of production that puts the world away from the Henry Ford age mass production line, and takes us to a new model of simple, customizable, printable, one-off production.

3D Printing and Health Industry

Since we started to talk about 3D printing, we all have been keeping a hope that it could be a game changer in health industry. Recently, adding more drive to it, a group of scientists in USA have stunned us by announcing that they could 3D-print out functional human vessels. In use of high-end 3D bio-printers, scientists from the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in Boston, Mass., have achieved the long-cherished aim. They have managed to reproduce blood vessels, giving a huge flourish for the effort to make synthetic blood vessels for the first time in history.

It is a well known fact that creating artificial blood vessels has been a very tough task in tissue engineering. It’s here the researchers have found a way to make vessels that could lead to transplatable tissue. For this, scientists at BWH developed a unique strategy to vascularize hydrogel constructs that unite advances in 3D bio-printing and biomaterials. As we can dream, the new development might be able to push the 3D printing industry eventually to create entire human organs and bones.

Architecture and Construction

There is going to have a leapfrog growth in the area of architecture. Both the architecture and construction are to change completely in benefit of 3D printing. Engineers could design most part of their structures on their desktop, and print them out from sophisticated 3D printers. It will make architecture industry rather faster as well as inexpensive. Massive 3D printers are even capable to figure huge buildings and structures quickly.

In many other areas of life, 3D printers can change things exclusively. Archeologists can 3D-print valuable structures, artifacts and monuments to use them for studies and experiments, without breaking the original pieces. Clear-cut replicas of a historical object can be displayed in several museums and other facilities, thanks to 3D printing technology.

Well, 3D printing can change the world absolutely in coming years. As of now, it is at the budding stage in many countries. After we begin to rely on the technology extensively, it could be a great advantage in several industries such as health, energy, art, construction, architecture, design, scientific experiments, manufacturing and more.
